FAQs

  • No insurance is required to ride on a UK Track
  • Its mandatory for "Repatriation Insurance" when riding on tracks in Europe.
  • In addition you will require a valid European Health Insurance Card (EHIC).
      • Check out Properly Protected for great personal accident insurance, remember to Mention TDA for the best deal 🙂
      • Whilst you don’t need insurance for your track bike on track, you can buy good value trackday insurance by the day for accidents on track at UK & EU circuits (even the Nurburgring) at BEMOTO - discounts for multiple days or groups of mates. Quote “TDA" and get £10 off per day of cover purchased
We would suggest a 2k one which will happily run two tyre warmers and you'll even be able to have a cup of tea between sessions 😉
This depends on the tyre manufacture, however if you have adjustable warmers you can set them to 40c for about 25 mins. Check out the tyre pressures page for more details.
